A two-toned velours area rug made of thick, felted, wick-like threads of pure New Zealand virgin wool. All of the homogenously dyed thread wicks have a black core in the centre. The diameter of the threads is about 1.2 centimetres, the pile is around 4.5 centimetres high, the weight approx. 14 kilogrammes per square metre. The backing is lavishly lined.
