Nova backed bench

Nova mimics the style of classic Continental park benches, reinventing them for the twenty-first century. Nova is formed by a central backrest with seating on either side. Like the double-seater park benches of Continental Europe, Nova is constructed from two cast-iron columns secured deep within the ground. The design is efficient and resourceful, requiring less material than a typical bench but providing twice the amount of seating.

Versions
Ground-mounted or attachable. Other materials for the seat and backrest are available upon request.

Material
The seat and backrest are made in MDF-H measuring
50 mm x 170 mm and 60 mm / 34 mm x 190 mm. The MDF is treated with alkyd oil enamel reddish-brown NCS S 4550-Y80, or light green NCS S 6010-G10Y. The frame is made in cast-iron with diameters of 170/110/90 mm, painted in black RAL9005.

Installation
The ground-mounted version should be attached to the ground with the 76 mm steel pipes provided, which insert into the cast-iron frames. The frame is compatible with the precast concrete foundation made by MEAG (76S-700 article number 600701) but this should be ordered from MEAG . The bench can also be cast directly into a concrete foundation poured on site.

Maintenance
Repaint with alkyd oil enamel as needed.
