Amercoat 148 Waterborne Acrylic Primer

Amercoat 148 is a high-performance, high-build waterborne
acrylic primer with excellent inhibitive features. Ideal for steel
and other substrates, it provides a bond between existing
painted or primed surfaces and suitable Ameron highperformance
topcoats such as Amercoat 220 waterborne
acrylic, Amercoat 335 waterborne epoxy acrylic, AmershieldTM
high-build polyurethane and Amercoat5401HS. Amercoat 148
may be applied by brush, roller, and airless or conventional
sprayer. Minimal surface preparation is required. It can be
topcoated after 3 hours at 70°F.
When used with a suitable topcoat, Amercoat 148 has excellent
resistance to weathering, water, and splash and spill of a
variety of industrial and household chemicals. It also inhibits
corrosion and resists cracking and impact damage.
