The Seoto ("Creek's Sound") Chair won the Good Design Award in 2012. This chair successfully fulfilled what the designer, Motomi Kawakami, set out to achieve: A balance of beauty and functionality. To fully showcase the charm of natural solid wood, Kawakami implemented the sophisticated wood-curving techniques of master woodcrafters. This chair is stackable, comes in beech, oak, and walnut, with choice of fabric or leather upholstery, and is available in a standard or a high size.
