MICA Laminates [MLA, MLS]
GCL Cloth Laminates [GCL]
Mica laminates are composed of natural mica splittings bound with fiberglass and shellac or vinyl resins. Workable with standard carpentry tools, they can be used as translucent infill panels or mounted to a solid substrate (plywood, GWB). Mica panels can be cold-curved (MLS, MLA) or thermoformed (MLA) on site.
Glass Cloth Laminates consist of directionality woven glass cloth layers bound with epoxy resin. A thermoset material with excellent impact strength, it can be cold-curved and very precisely cut, drilled, and machined.
