The Ascot line is a fully upholstered lounge line with a transitional elegance.
The Ascot meets or exceeds the product and safety standards of ANSI/BIFMA X5.4-2005.
Upholstery options are endless with our range of standard textiles, as well as the opportunity for Customer’s Own Materials (COM).
The interior frame is constructed with a combination of hardwood, and engineered wood, kiln dried to ensure integrity of the frame, with all critical joints double doweled, stapled, glued and screwed together. This engineered design allows for a light weight frame with all the structural integrity of a hard wood frame.
For support and comfort, sinuous loop no-sag® seat springs are used which span the length of the seat every few inches, with 8 gauge steel for the seat, and 1.6 gauge steel for the back.
The chair is fully padded with high density CFC free polyurethane foam.
The removable seat cushions are slip covered, and closed with a zipper.
Seat and back are double stitched for added strength and a more refined aesthetic.
The bottoms are all finished with a black polyester dust cover.
The Ascot sits on walnut stained, turned, tapered and fluted hardwood legs, with nylon glides.
