LC3 - Méridienne
(1928 - 2006)
Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand
Description: This model, developed from sketches made by Charlotte Perriand in 1928, derives from the Fauteuil Grand Confort and is designed to provide a different kind of seat that may be taken as a modern interpretation of the Méridienne.
Unlike the normal two-armed armchair this has a lengthened seat and one single arm unit which can be set at either end thus giving the piece a kind of asymmetric look.
Available with feather padded cushions or a combination of polyurethane and polyester padded cushions.
Frame available in the following finishes:
* polished black
* gloss black (basalte)
* gloss gray
* gloss light blue
* gloss green
* gloss bordeaux
* gloss ochre
Produced under license from the Foundation Le Corbusier and so indicated by a stamped signature and serial number on each model.
