Processing and Finishing
Iris is processed at the tannery using tanning formulas which are environmentally friendly. The hides are retanned in aged oak drums using vegetable agents, natural fat liquors and oils along with dyes that ensure the leather is properly dyed. A final touch is achieved through a sequence of ironing and dry milling. No PCP or CFC is used during the tanning process. Waterbased finishes are applied to provide an even coloration and protection to the leather.
