LIFT & SLIDE VIEW WALL

This is no ordinary sliding door - our Lift & Slides create virtual moving walls of wood-framed glass panels that stack or disappear into a pocket, opening up living spaces to the outdoors. The weight of the panels rests on the solid floor surface and compresses the weatherstripping, creating a weather-resistant seal. When you activate each handle, the panel lifts up onto its wheeled carriages, enabling it to slide easily and quietly along its track.

We do not manufacture aluminum panels with a thin interior wood veneer - our panels are manufactured out of solid wood, or wood with exterior aluminum cladding for trouble-free maintenance. We offer a raised wood track for improved weather performance, or a recessed track that is made out of stainless steel, rather than aluminum, for better durability and resistance to corrosion. We will also match your custom cladding color at no extra charge using Kynar paint, a superior finish that minimizes UV fading.

BI-FOLDING VIEW WALL

The all-new Folding View-Wall system by Pacific Architectural Millwork offers a wide range of options, maximum glass visibility, and superior functionality, at a competitive price. With combinations of up to twelve panels in openings of up to 36 feet, Pacific can create virtually any configuration that you can imagine.

Our wood and clad Folding View-Walls use European hardware that has been engineered exclusively for Pacific Architectural Millwork. The hinges are interlocked into the aluminum rather than screwed onto the wood face to prevent sagging, and the hardware allows adjustments to the panels for smooth operation and a perfect fit.

The Folding View-Wall is also available with optional extruded aluminum cladding for a durable, low-maintenance exterior. Our cladding system has been engineered to allow for the expansion and contraction of the materials, and is designed to provide years of beauty and performance. We can match any color with our long-lasting Kynar paint finish, which offers superior resistance to corrosion and UV fading, at no additional charge.

HAWAIIAN FX SLIDING DOORS

In the unique Hawaiian market, people desire wide-open expanses, with little or no barrier between their interior and exterior living spaces. For this environment, PAM has developed the Hawaiian Effects (HFX) multislide door.

Our all-wood HFX doors use flush-profile locks and edge pulls, which allow the panels to stack and glide quietly along their tracks and disappear completely into the jamb pocket. These products are not suitable for environments where weather-resistance is a factor, but in the tropical locale of Hawaii, the climate is so ideal that window and door products remain open most of the time.

Many of these custom homes incorporate doors in a 90 degree corner application, with 20-30 ft. of pocketing doors on either side. This type of architecture is unique to Hawaii and gives the homeowner the full benefits of living in the tropics, where the emphasis is on natural materials and the "lanai" lifestyle that is found throughout the South Pacific.

Glazing Options
Standard glazing for the Lift-and-Slide door uses 1” overall tempered insulated glass. Custom glazing and tinted glass are also available.

The clad Lift-and-Slide door can be purchased with custom options such as screens, and you can choose from two different track options:
Flush stainless steel track (not recommended for wood floors)
Raised wood track
