The reassuring character of the solid European walnut or natural oak from which the 1 _'' (40 mm) thick top of the Odessa dining table is made is further refined by the cut of its edges. Streamlined like an airplane wing, the top seems to float on the twin arches of its steel base. The lightness of its surface is only enhanced by its very slender form. The matte varnished finish highlights all the natural beauty of the solid wood.

For the two largest sizes 94 _'' x 38 _'' & 102 1/4'' x 38 _'' (240 cm x 98 cm & 260 cm x 98 cm) the tops are made up of wooden panels, some of which may be joined together lengthways.
