Inspiration | The graceful arc of bare tree limbs.

Method | We craft this heirloom-quality piece using solid American hardwood sourced from sustainable forests. After machining the stool top and turning the legs on the lathe, we piece the stool together using traditional Windsor joinery. The unique solid wood stretcher – adding strength and stability to the design as well as a place to rest ones feet – is shaped using a process known as bent-lamination. After hand sanding, we hand-apply a finish that causes the natural beauty of the wood’s grain to glow.
