Woven Plank Plynyl® Tiles take advantage of new manufacturing techniques that Chilewich developed and allow for new shapes and sizes of flooring products to be made. The Woven Plank shape (6 x 36”) was chosen to allow for ease of installation and to highlight the inherent bi-directional quality of Chilewich woven textiles. The visual effect of the Woven Plank Tiles is one of strong linearity, similar to other natural materials, such as wood or stone. The unique feature of Woven Plank though, is that this specific shape highlights the joints between the planks. Unlike carpet tile that can be visually monolithic when installed, woven fabrics by their nature cannot be monolithic.
Woven Plank Tiles are available with a vinyl backing that is installed with adhesives, or a BioFelt® backing that is installed with VELCRO® Brand Hook Squares, a dry installation system that can be removed without a trace.
