EMERGENCY WaterStop is part of the family of PROSOCO R-GUARD products developed to prevent the unwanted movement of water and air through building envelopes. Use alone to form a waterproof bead or membrane when repairing water leakage at windows, doors, skylights, gutters, flashing or other water-handling details. Use with compatible R-GUARD products for permanent leak repairs.
EMERGENCY WaterStop is a high modulus, wet sealant that combines the best of silicone and polyurethane properties. This single component, 99% solids Silyl-Terminated-Poly-Ether (STPE) is easy to gun and tool in all weather conditions. EMERGENCY WaterStop seals and bonds most building materials ‰ЫТ even when submerged in water ‰ЫТ producing a durable, high performance, high movement elastomeric sealant.
The ability to install EMERGENCY WaterStop underwater and in adverse conditions eliminates many weather-related construction delays and makes it possible to dry in buildings being damaged by active water leaks. EMERGENCY WaterStop adheres to most surfaces, is immediately waterproof and is compatible with most paints and other sealants.
EMERGENCY WaterStop prevents future water penetration, lets wet surfaces dry and resists growth of mold and mildew.
Use EMERGENCY WaterStop for emergency repairs, in combination with other R-GUARD products on window and door retrofits, or as part of a building-wide R-GUARD Air & Water Resistive Barrier system.
Appropriate for above grade applications to structural sheathing, CMU, architectural metals, painted metals, glass, PVC, FRP, EPDM and most other building materials.
