Kaskad chair

Inspired by raging rivers breaking over rocks, the Kaskad chair captures the movement of water surging over rapids. Crafted from ribbons of curved steel attached to a contouring frame, the chair's fluid form and flowing lines articulate the shapes of contemporary art more than they speak the language of industrial design. Lightweight and stackable, the chair flexes similarly to a sprung frame to provide added comfort. The chair belongs to the Kaskad furniture group, which includes a table and an armchair.
