Christina Jonsson

Klara is an award-winning bench with an eye-catching design. The armrests, legs and side supports are fixed in cast iron, yet their sweeping curves suggest fluid form. As if drawn boldly in black ink, their sleek shapes seem to spell out letters of the alphabet, or bring strokes of a paint brush to life. Although the bench is strikingly contemporary, the simplicity of its design and the beauty of its contours make it suited to period settings also.

Assembly
Fully assembled.

Versions
A range of woods is available upon request.

Material
The frame is made of cast-iron painted
in black RAL 9005.
The seat and backrest are made of pine
painted light grey NCS S 5502-B
or reddish-brown NCS S 4550-Y80R.
The screws are stainless steel.
The seat is underpinned by a zinc-electroplated steel frame that can be hot-dip galvanised
upon request.

Installation
The bench is freestanding but can be attached to the ground by bolt-holes in the frame. M12 bolts are required.

Maintenance
Both painted cast-iron and painted pine can be repainted when needed with alkyd oil enamel.

Character
A strikingly contemporary bench. The simplicity of its design and the beauty of its contours are also suited to period settings.
