Sjostad is an example of public design at its best. This backed bench is designed to provide additional support along the armrests and backrest, providing those who need assistance with an independent means of sitting down and standing up. Sjostad is made to accommodate a wide range of body shapes and different levels of mobility, and like the Access backed bench, is a groundbreaking combination of contemporary form and ergonomic design. Also available as a bench and a table.

Assembly
Partly assembled. The seat and backrest should be attached to the frame with enclosed bolts.

Teak on pine, oiled oak or FSC- mahogany.

The sub-frame and all legs are made in square pipe. All steel is zinc-electroplated and powder-coated. All screws are stainless steel. The standard colour is anthracite grey, Gris 900 Sable.

Installation
Bolted to the ground.

Maintenance
Painted pine can be repainted with alky oil enamel as needed. Oiled wood should be reoiled twice-yearly.
