The smooth curves of this contemporary indoor bench may recall the soft contours of upholstered furniture, but the comparison stops there. Plyma's seat and optional backrest are made from waxed ash, sculpted into cushion-like shapes that give off a slight sheen. The table surfaces are crafted from terazzo stone and integrated into the overall design, which is underpinned by a slender steel base. Designed especially for public spaces, Plyma conveys a sense of softness rarely seen in industrial furniture.
