The FLEX chair combines the flowing curves of its arms and back with an angled section at its base. A matching footstool is also available. By Sam Johnson Sam Johnson studied furniture and product design at Ravensbourne University and graduated in 1998. He has worked for a number of independent designers and consultancies before setting up his own company in 2001. His products have been short listed for both Muji and The Peugeot design awards and has exhibited in Tokyo, Paris and London. His work is currently sold through London based distributor Thorsten van Elten. Most recently Sam co-founded the design collective 'Shift' of which Morph UK have become an important member. The group's recent exhibition 'Time:frame' resulted in Sam and Morph collaborating to produce the 'London' and 'Domino' ranges. Both parties are currently working extensively on new projects together whilst continuing to pursue individual idea.
