Design: 2008
Description:
These utterly compelling chairs take their inspiration from the six wives of Henry VIII, and are as charismatic as the designer who created them. Spaniard Jaime Hayon has injected his personality into the designs, thus imbuing each with its own identity expressed through variations of upholstery and finishing. The highly polished finishes and upholstery stitching inspired from traditional quilting help the chairs emanate fine opulence and spectacle with modern flair.
