Add an element of motion to any space with WAVE. The visually dynamic divider screen adds aesthetic and function to a variety of environments. The aluminum frame contains curved panels designed to reduce ambient light and sound. The lightweight modular design is available in 4', 6' and 8' widths.
Functionality: WAVE is a freestanding screen that can be used to divide work areas or add privacy for a variety of environments. The frame components lock together and panels are inserted into a channel in the frame. The design functions as a filter, the curved shape of the panels reduce sound and redirect ambient light to pass through the screens openings.
Flexibility: The screen is flexible enough for use in office environments, waiting rooms or common areas. The modular design is available in 4', 6' and 8' widths. Multiple screens can connect with an optional connector. The screen is easy to move and a caster base is available.
Durability: WAVE's interlocking frame is composed of extruded 6063-T6 (tempered) aluminum, providing a very solid and rigid construction. The powder coated finish is an exterior grade providing an extremely durable finish. The curved panels are plastic and are very durable under normal use.
Aesthetics: The wave like design of the screen is visually bold & dynamic inspired by natural waves. The arrangement of curved panels create an undulating aesthetic unlike any other divider screen products. Special attention was given to the size, shape and proportions of the panels so the screen as a whole is complimentary to a variety of spaces with other furnishings, lighting and architectural elements.
Innovation: The curved panels of WAVE help to reduce ambient sound. Most partition products have flat surfaces made of substrates that absorb sound. Physics demonstrates that parabolic or curved surfaces reflect sound waves in ways that can focus the sound to weaken and cancel each other out, a term called destructive interference. The curved panels catch sound and reduce the intensity of the reflected wave.
Sustainability: The frame and panels are manufactured from 75% recycled content, the screen is 100% recyclable at the end of its life. The powder coated finish does not emit VOC's typical with sprayed finishes.
