This unique, large-scale plaid was inspired by an embroidery sample collected by designer Dorothy Cosonas, which had a grid that appeared to fade in and out across the surface. Employing an entirely unique printing process, Cosonas' concept drawing of an organic grid was translated into the Odyssey pattern and then heat-transferred onto a luxurious velvet upholstery textile. The velvet's secure W-shaped pile yields a highly durable yet soft-to-the-touch, flame-retardant fabric that will make an impact in a variety of seating applications.
