With an emphasis on durability, the base is an 18-gauge steel formed and welded to support the entire weight of the unit. The Rear Panel is structurally reinforced, and includes two grommet holes for convenient wire management and access to the electronic storage. AV Mid-Case also contains two riser shelves enclosed by two secure locking doors to protect classroom electronics and provide additional classroom shelving.
