Ultra-thin concrete and curved, cantilevered form come together to give the Grasshopper table—designed by Makoto Fukuda for Escofet—a smooth, dynamic and impossibly light appearance. Its deliberately incomplete shape produces two personalities. At one end, it closes gently to become an intimate place to chat, and at the other, Grasshopper opens up with a welcoming gesture.
