The goal for Share was to create a comfortable, easily understood, informal activity-based modular seating system that was also practical to reconfigure.
Concept
Open plan offices require multi-functional collaborative spaces where people can meet, exchange ideas, or simply recharge. As an activity-based, modular system, Share was developed to provide efficient, flexible, and inspiring use of this semi-private space. It is one of the very few lines that allow seamless integration of task and lounge height seating surfaces to create additional dimensions of use within the same location. This makes it possible to accommodate individuals who find it inconvenient to sit on or get up from a lower surface. The two heights also encourage mixing dining with casual work and conferencing.
