The Capo series was initially designed for the Italian restaurant Capo in Shanghai, where the interior design concept was based on a basilica and possessed an old world charm of masonry enclosure appointed with handsomely crafted detailing. The chair series also takes on those qualities of heritage, where the simple and modern form is enriched with tailoring details that evoke old-world sensibilities.

The Capo is a well-balanced equilibrium between sophistication and utility, between classic and contemporary aesthetic. The Capo series includes a dining chair with and without arms, a bar stool in two heights, and a lounge chair with or without arms.

Timber is sustainable solid wood from North America or Europe, offering long-term repairability of the surface. Natural colour and grain variations in every plank make each piece an individual. Traditional wood joinery bonded with wood glue ensures structural integrity. All finishes are non-toxic and applied by hand, sprayed or rubbed.

Textiles supplied by a renowned Danish partner with fabric mills in Norway, Italy and the UK. Leather sourced from tanneries in Sweden and Italy using only hides from European cattle.
