3M™ Diamond Cloth Disc 651WY

Our 3M Diamond Cloth Disc 651WY cuts hard-to-grind materials fast with micron-graded diamond mineral. A flexible J-weight cloth backing conforms to contours and complex shapes and has a durable resin bond.
Designed for grinding and polishing the hardest materials, the 3M™ Diamond Cloth Disc 651WY tackles tough materials including ceramics, carbides and cast iron. It also works well for stripping thermal spray coating during the refurbishment process. A flexible, J-weight cloth backing conforms to contours and complex shapes for fine finishes.
3M™ Diamond Cloth Disc 651WY incorporates diamond mineral encapsulated in a ceramic bead, bonded to a durable, water-resistant, J wt. cloth backing.
This product is great for removing hard to grind materials and excellent for finishing work on tough materials like carbide or on ceramic materials. This belt material can also be used with oil and water based lubricants for lower grinding temperatures.
Recommended Applications: Use 3M™ Diamond Cloth Disc 651WY for finishing and dimensioning hard materials including precious/semi-precious stones, thermal spray parts, ceramics, decorative glass, composites, HVOF coatings, chilled iron, rubber, non-ferrous metal, and engineered stone.
