As bungalow-style homes sprung up across America in the early 1900s, the rocker was embraced as a quintessential Arts & Crafts form. Meant to be set near a fireplace, they were well built, generally of oak, with exposed joints. Our American Bungalow Rocker is crafted in cherry with mortise-and-tenon joints throughout and a fully finished cherry back panel. The backrest is adjustable to four positions. The American Bungalow Rocker can be upholstered in any of our standard offerings or a material of your choice.
