Sitting Bench

This bench was inspired by the Chinese character for ‘water’. The Chinese language has a rich and fascinating history that dates back thousands of years. There are many characters whose original forms were pictographs. The character for ‘water’ is one such example. It was this symbol that led to the development of Sitting Bench. The arms and legs of the bench form the strokes on each side of the character. A figure sitting down on the bench completes it.
