CUSTOM WORK - Made on commission

Honu began as a commission for a client's sitting room. They wanted a large coffee table to act as a focal point for the room. This necessitated the inclusion of a shelf to store remotes, magazines, and books. While brainstorming ideas for the design, I was reminded of a recent backpacking trip in Hawaii where I was graced by the presence of a green sea turtle, honu, swimming in a shallow pool of water near me. The flowing lines and beauty of the turtle suspended in the water inspired the creation of Honu.
