Basalt

Basalt is a sound-absorbing cylindrical baffle available in three lengths and 18 vibrant colors of Icelandic wool. Basalt is suspended vertically by means of one simple cable attached to a preinstalled eye hook. Due to its simple linear shape Basalt is perfect for high ceilings like auditoriums, schools, and theaters. Like the other Lina products in the collection, Basalt takes its inspiration from the natural hexagonal rock formations aptly named basalt columns. Grouping Basalt baffles together will result in the best sound-absorbing results.

— Hardware for attaching Basalt to the ceiling is not provided by Unika Vaev. Installer is responsible for supplying the hanging hardware and attachment to the ceiling. An eye hook is provided preinstalled to each unit.
— For best results cover 35% of the ceiling space and form groups. Cluster Basalt in corners to absorb the unwanted bass noise in a room.
— To clean Basalt you should roll with a tape roll to remove loose particles caught in the wool fibers on the surface of Basalt.
