Amstep 331 Series (3″ wide); 341 Series (4″ wide); and 351 Series (5″ wide) anti-slip stair nosings are a snap to retrofit and work with virtually any stair material including poured or precast concrete, terrazzo, steel pan cement filled, or wood stairs, making them ideal for applications where metal nosings were not specified during construction or where stairs have begun to peel, crack or become a tripping hazard.

The tread base shall consist of heat treated 6063-T6 Amstep Products, LLC extruded aluminum. The anti-slip abrasive filler material shall be bonded and locked into the channels provided in the extruded tread base. Treads will have a coefficient of friction 1.02 dry, 0.98 wet per ASTM F609-79. Tread shall be 1/4″ thick and secured by means of 1/4″, stainless steel flat head screws to a depth of 1 3/4″.
