Side-hinged swinging doors have been around for centuries and even most folding doors are based on this very simple method of closing off a room. Being about seamless and artful division of spaces, Raydoor pivot doors can be configured in ways to allow a fluid transition from one space to another, truly joining two spaces when doors are open. They can be done without a header for situations where you'd like a ceiling to flow uninterrupted from one room to another, and even without jamb stops or jambs at all as their mounting points are top and bottom instead of along one side as on traditional swing doors.
