Option 1: Install wood filler panels to reduce the size of the opening to 22" wide X 16 1/2" Height. IMPORTANT BUILT IN INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
The Front Frame/Built in Trim Kit for Model MC-500-BIB/S has vent holes or openings on the top and bottom edge of the front frame for air intake and exhaust. This means there must be 1” of space above and below the front frame.

Front Frame Dimensions are 18 1/16” Height X 23 5/8” Width X 1 ¼” Depth

If you are installing your new Master Chef Convection Microwave Oven under a drop-in cooktop, the cut out height for the Master Chef Oven must be 16 ½” below the bottom of the cooktop.
