Our sturdy changing table topper attaches to our Rustic Thomas Extra-Wide Dresser to create a safe spot for diaper changes. Simply remove the topper to transition the nursery into a big-kid room. The partitioned topper can be positioned for right- or left-handed use. The dresser is crafted of a solid wood frame with dovetail joinery and frame-and-panel construction with rustic beadboard paneling, turned wood legs and hefty ball finials. See our crib safety tips. COMPOSITION:
Frame: Solid Rubberwood (stained finishes) or Solid Pine (painted finshes)
Panels: MDF* with Mahogany or Spruce Veneer
Drawer Knobs: Pine
Finish: Oil-based paint or stain, non-toxic lacquer sealant. Hand-applied using a multi-step finishing process.
Construction Techniques: Mortise and tenon joinery and frame and panel construction. Drawers feature dovetail joinery and center-mounted waxed wood drawer glides. All sides finished.
*MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard): A man-made fiberboard consisting of wood fibers and resin binders. Suitable for painted furnishings and commonly used as a base for veneers, MDF features uniform consistency with no knots. While its density is about the same as a medium-weight hardwood, it is more structurally stable and will not warp or crack. MDF adheres well to finishes.

CARE:
Dust often using a clean, soft, dry lint-free cloth.
Blot spills immediately, and wipe with a clean, damp, cloth.
We do not recommend the use of chemical cleansers, abrasives, or furniture polish.
