Clove Lamp

CLOVE lamp (can be made as individuals or in clusters)

As an exercise in parametric variation + control, the CLOVE lamp was developed with nearly the entire process/work-flow defined within a single parametric model - every aspect, from the global form all the way to final fabrication layout is parametric and associative. The final model was refined to accommodate specific size constraints, desired form, and maximum material efficiencies.

Painted 1/8” & 1/4” Ply (14"L x 14"D x 32"H)

Details:

- The Cloves are $2000 each (in either 24" or 30" heights and includes painted edges). The images on my site include a white-edge painted version and an all-white painted (fully painted would add some cost to the overall price). I can paint the edges other colors as well.
- I can also do other sizes, but there would be a substantial 'custom' design fee
-The rib material is 1/8" laser-cut plywood. The inner supporting 'rings' are 1/4" lasercut plywood.
- I provide custom hanging hardware and use a pre-wired ceiling canopy (white...or potentially another color). The cable and cord can be a general length (to be cut in the field) or I can provide a specific length.
- Socket is a standard E26 and I recommend no more than 60 watt frosted incandescent bulbs. Some of the newer LED bulbs work well also. I'll provide the basic incandescent bulb as part of the cost.

- To be safe, lead time is 8-12 weeks from receipt of 50% deposit.

- The cost does not include crating/shipping. I can provide that upon request or I'm happy to turn the lamps over to a service of your choice
