In 2011, Global Total Office celebrated its 45th anniversary. With eleven showrooms in the United States, the company is one of the largest manufacturers of office furnishings in North America. Global Total Office employs a certified professional ergonomist to help design furniture that provides a good FIT. The company knows the human body is designed to move, and their line of task seating “allows you to move both rhythmically and from one fixed posture to another.”

Bridges —
Designed for contemporary office spaces that enhance open communication, Bridges is a series of linear worktables with integrated data/power support. Table dividers and modesty panels “provide a private setting for users while keeping communication lines open.” Tables are available in 24” or 30” surfaces and include levelers and casters for convenience. Table dividers come standard with frosted tempered glass for a sleek style.

Duet —
The Duet chair is “high density stacking with versatility and poise.” On a mobile dolly, Duet can be stacked up to 40 chairs high; on the floor, it’s stackable to 10 units. Created in ten designer colors like Tiger Orange and Caribbean Surf, Duet comes in two arm styles with two rack options (backpack and book) and an optional ganging frame. No front cross bar and a waterfall front seat design make Duet roomy and comfortable for the legs and knees. Constructed of polypropylene, it is easy to clean and durable as well. Duet is a stylish alternative to the standard stackable.

Graphic —
An ergonomically designed task chair with a smaller profile, Graphic is a slim chair with a Euro-style back that is contoured side to side and top to bottom. Available with fully upholstered, breathable mesh, or textured nylon back, Graphic gives you comfort in a sleek, compact package. The chair features a new mechanism “that places the pivot point directly below the operator's hips allowing both the user and the chair back to pivot from the same point in a natural motion.”
In all aspects of its operation, Global Total Office is committed to sustainability. From recycling 88% of waste across the organization to using 80% recycled packaging, the company pays attention to reducing its environmental impact and carbon footprint. Global Total Office also recycles more than 100 tons of fabric, which gets donated to Echoes in the Attic, an eco-retailer that uses textile scraps. And the company oversees its environmental practices, “because most of what goes into a Global product is made by Global.” Additionally, Global Total Office’s North American parts and service department extends product life, since “a chair should not go to a landfill simply because a caster breaks.”
