Drift Concrete—
Designed in 2006 and launched in 2008, Drift Concrete is a sculptural bench with “complex curves, angles and subtracted spaces.” Conceived by Amanda Levete Architects, Drift Concrete was inspired by a piece of driftwood. The sculptural bench, cast in concrete, works for indoor and permanent outdoor applications. Sinuous, sensual, and organic, Drift Concrete juxtaposes positive and negative space, with two oblong holes of varying sizes carved into the base. Also in the collection are the original Drift, made of glass-reinforced polyester finished in matte or high-gloss paint, and Drift-In and Drift-Out, two curved benches constructed of Fordacal.

Quilt and Quilt, the Thing—
Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Quilt includes a chair, sofa, and ottoman of substantial form and rich pattern. Round, bulbous pieces dominated by oblong hexagonal quilting, Quilt “consists of an upholstered, honeycomb-like skin of hi-tech stretch fabric with individual foam inserts, fitted over a fiberglass shell.” Mathematical and dramatic, Quilt strays from traditional conceptions of structured seating. Added in 2011 is Quilt, the Thing, which offers a new colorway inspired by comic book superheroes: white with red accents that bleed like spray paint.

Wrong Woods—
The result of a collaboration between British artist Richard Woods and designer Sebastian Wrong—the first of Established & Sons’ “Collaborations” program which pairs individuals from two creative fields—Wrong Woods is a collection of three pieces: a night table, chest of drawers, and low cabinet. All characterized by Woods’ block-printed motifs and bold colorways and Wrong’s utilitarian cabinets, Wrong Woods pieces combine an abstracted domesticated pattern with clean, 1950s-era lines, creating a unique contrast: “The utilitarian feel of the furniture that we have made is somewhat at odds with the cartoon graphic surface that covers it,” Woods explains. Materials include plywood, timber, paint, and clear lacquer. Available colors are white with green, yellow with red, white with black, and pink with blue.
Established & Sons collaborates with leading designers, architects, and artists throughout the globe. Their Limited Edition collection and Collaborations program have birthed one-of-a-kind pieces like Aqua, a futuristic table by Zaha Hadid, and The Chankley Bore, a series of animatronic storage units by Maarten Baas.
