Founded by renowned interior designer Angelo Donghia, whose clientele included Barbara Walters, Ralph Lauren, Halston, Diana Ross, and Donald Trump among others, Donghia, Inc. was an extension of Angelo Donghia’s luxurious design. From Donghia Furniture, established in 1978, to Donghia Textiles, founded in 1980, Donghia, Inc. translated Angelo Donghia’s luxurious decor into fine upholstery andcasepieces. Currently, the company has twelve showrooms across the United States and over fifty representative showrooms throughout the world.

• Bristol Sectional: The Bristol Sectional is a fully upholstered, tight back sofa with loose seat cushions filled with a luxurious 50/50 feather/down fill. Able to fit in contemporary, traditional, and transitional interiors, Bristol Sectional is raised on a concealed wood plinth base finished in Brown Mahogany. Gathered shirred detail on arm panels and seat cushion side panels give the sofa a neat, simple finished look.
• Origami Table: A one-of-a-kind piece, the Origami Table is a folded and welded sheet metal table available in solid brass or stainless steel. Its mirror-polished interior contrasts nicely with the patinated exterior, creating a multi-dimensional piece that plays with texture, color, and sheen. At 20 inches high and 18 inches wide, Origami Table works as a side table, lamp table, reading table, or nightstand. Its glorious scintillating interior adds a touch of glamour, and its faceted shape recalls the paper folding technique for which it’s named.
• Woodbridge Club Chair: An upholstered chair with solid maple arms and base, Woodbridge Club Chair is a perfect retreat in stylish dens and libraries, elegant living rooms and lobbies, or opulent bedrooms or boudoirs. With loose seat and back cushions and welt detail on cushion and back pillow, Woodbridge Club Chair offers supreme comfort and stylish details. It’s the solid wood arms, however, that command most of the attention. A beautiful detail reminiscent of the Art Deco era, the wood arms are available in various maple finishes, including Walnut Burl.

• The Donghia brand partners with high-profile designers to continue its line of unique pieces that “seamlessly fit into any decor—traditional, contemporary or an eclectic mix.” In 2005, Donghia, Inc. was acquired by Italian textile company the Rubelli Group.
