Description

Headquartered in Woodbridge, Ontario, Decoustics has been in business since 1975. For more than 35 years, the company has garnered the respect of architects and designers with its wide range of precise and stylish products, including the Ceilencio torsion spring ceiling system, Claro custom acoustical coatings, Madero natural wood finishes, Trelisio woven wire, and Design Returns for depth and thickness.

  • Nuvola— Nuvola Acoustical Clouds and Shapes turn any ceiling into a sculptural installation. Constructed from a fiberglass core, then finished with Decoustics’ Claro finish, Nuvola panels are available in eleven standard sizes of pre-curved and flat shapes—from cumulus forms to concave units. Install Nuvola to frame a space or group them together “to create unique configurations.” Suspended by an innovative spiral spring anchor hanger, Nuvola “allows the installer to efficiently install anchor points on the panel back” without the use of specialty tools: the spiral spring anchors simply twist into the panel body.
  • Quadrillo— A premium acoustical transverse grooved membrane, Quadrillo is available for both ceiling and wall applications. Its natural wood veneer finish is available in Beech, Oak, Walnut, Cherry, Mahogany, Angire, Maple, and Ash. Quadrillo panels feature excellent acoustical absorption, thanks to Decoustics’ perforated technology and high-performance acoustical core: “The percentage of open area on the Quadrillo panel is only approximately 6% (for a 5mm spacing groove), however the unique grooves create a four sided ‘funnel’ effect that allows sound to arrive at a variety of angles, thereby focusing the transfer of energy and absorption from a broader surface area.” Quadrillo panels have been used in large projects nationwide, including Terminal D in the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, the Institute of Molecular Medicine in Texas, and the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta.
  • Trelisio— An acoustical panel with a woven wire finish, Trelisio can be used for ceilings or walls. Available in nine woven wire finishes, including stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze, and aluminum, Trelisio wire panels make a statement. The metal material is unexpected in acoustical walls and ceilings, offering a stylish alternative to designers and architects.

Known for its innovation and high standards, Decoustics has consistently developed “products and solutions that meet the design needs of architects and designers.” By investing in research and development, Decoustics stays ahead of industry trends “and pushes the boundaries of innovation.”
