Based on research that indicates that people like to lounge close to the floor and sprawl while using their hand-held digital devices, Hosu “is intended for any easygoing workplace, home offices included.” Presented at NeoCon 2012 and featured in the Home section of the New York Times, Hosu was designed by Patricia Urquiola. Meant to be comfortable and casual, since mobile work takes place in increasingly casual environments, Hosu is perfect for home offices, hotel rooms, university lounges, and creative businesses. Available as a single or double lounge, Hosu includes storage pockets and a cable pass-through, as well as a coordinating lumbar pillow. Hosu’s signature textured fabric was also designed by Patricia Urquiola.
