A name that brings to mind the Old Testament tower, built when mankind all spoke the same language, and now used for the bookcase designed by Mario Mazzer for Bonaldo. Babel is a five-shelf bookcase, with a rounded trunk-like shape. It has been designed asymmetrically to create double fronted compartments for ornaments, books, newspapers and magazines. Its surface is scored irregularly, evoking natural elements, such as a tree trunk. The circular base means that it fits easily into any environment, home or contract sector, with its sculpture like presence adding a touch of character. Babel is made in polyethylene, moulded using a revolving technique. It is available in a range of colours. The surface has irregular lines, giving it a natural texture. The circular base means it can easily be placed in any home or contract environment. Suitable also for outdoor.
