Trees

The Trees line by Norman Diekman is a collection of modern sculptural tables. These tables are evocative interpretations of natural forms. Common tilting edges invite pairing one form with another. Material usage is assigned to each form to manifest the sensorial promise of scale, texture and color. The third collection by Mr. Diekman for Brayton, the Tree’s collection is the fulcrum upon which he seeks to balance the language of shape, line, plane, volume and material. The presence of a Tree or multiple Trees may serve as an anchor within open architectural spaces by providing weight and substance upon the ground plane. Curved and angled surfaces offer cascading or leaning volumes to pair with furniture settings. Materials such as terrazzo and molded wood form the natural skin of Tree’s, altering the user experience with each touch.
