Talk, designed by EOOS, is Keilhauer’s new seating system of benches with backs, chairs, and tables, created to accommodate and optimize face-to-face meetings.
Functionality: Talk : single- and 2-seat benches with backrests that double as privacy screens/sound barriers. Seats and backs angle slightly at the center to create a perfect configuration for natural, comfortable talking. With Talk benches and tables, meeting places are created in any space. The table’s hexagonal shape creates a natural plane on which to present papers and other materials used in meetings.
Flexibility: Talk components create meeting places out of open space, where sound and visual privacy are desired: 2 seat widths – single and double; 2 seat heights – work height and lounge height; 2 backrest heights – low back and high back; 4 lounge-height tables; 1 desk-height table; 1 small end table.
Durability: Talk seating and tables are covered by Keilhauer’s standard ten-year warranty. The frame and base are made of steel for solid structure and stability.
Aesthetics: The backrests are punctuated with relief seams that define contours of the pieces, presenting a display like drawings on a wall, which make tangible visual depth and structure. Foam is ample for comfort and acoustical privacy, while maintaining a sleek, smooth look. The design has one visual statement/one ergonomic statement, across the product line: all the components integrate with each other.
Innovation: Talk benches double as privacy screens/sound barriers. Seats and backs angle slightly at the center to create a perfect configuration for natural, comfortable talking (unlike straight-line benches). With Talk benches and tables, meeting places are created in any space. The tableМҐs hexagonal shape creates a natural plane on which to present papers and other materials used in meetings.
Sustainability: Talk is certified Silver under BIFMA’s level program, including GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality. Table tops are PaperStone, 100% post-consumer recycled paper, stained with natural pigments.
